Interloop North America offers an Employee Matching Program, which provides matching funds to the charitable organizations employees personally support. This program is offered to encourage voluntary support of charitable organizations, while allowing employees to help direct corporate contributions to the eligible nonprofit organizations of their choice.

For 2022, ILNA will match up to $250 of an employee’s personal contributions that meet program guidelines.

Eligible participants are those who are active, full-time employees of ILNA. Eligible organizations are those who are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax exempt and designated as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

Eligibility requirements:
·      Donations must be a personal gift, from a donor’s personal funds which has been paid and not simply pledged. Gifts must be made directly to approved organizations or facilitated through Bright Funds.
·      The maximum amount matched per employee per fiscal year is $250. If an employee makes several contributions, gifts will be matched in the order they are received, up to the maximum limit in that fiscal year.
·      The company match is limited to the portion of the donor's gift that is tax deductible. The value of gifts, goods or services that a donor receives in exchange for their donation, is not tax deductible and is not eligible for matching.
·      Gifts must be in the form of cash, check, or credit card. No other form of personal or real property donation will be matched.
·      Determination of an organization's initial and continued eligibility will be at the sole discretion of ILNA’s leadership and Giving team.

Deemed un-eligible for matching:
·      Gifts for extra-curricular activities, including sports, band, travel, field trip, sports group
·      Gifts that provide a direct financial or material benefit to the employee or the employee’s family
·      Membership fees for which benefits are received such as alumni groups; Gifts made in lieu of tuition
·      Any organization that promotes or engages in violence, terrorism, bigotry, or the destruction of any state
·      Political organizations and churches, mosques, synagogues, temples, and the like (excluded from the database within Bright Funds based on NTEE codes identified by the non-profit)

All matching donation requests must be submitted electronically through Bright Funds. Bright Funds is a third-party company that facilitates and supports our giving strategy. Employees can find program related information through their personal portal - such as guidelines, FAQs, personal giving history and eligible charitable organizations. Employees may give directly through the personal portal or submit an electronic copy of the receipt of donation. Once submitted, leadership will approve matching donation funds to be sent to the organization. Please note that matching gifts must be requested within the same fiscal year as the initial donation. Requests received after this time may not be honored.
